Pegasus Productions is a production company based in South Australia specialising in high quality works ranging from film and live performance to displays and facades for events, festivals, and exhibitions. We pride ourselves on being involved from start to finish, meticulously managing every facet of the production from design to completion.

Our Services

  • Our design team can work with you to make your idea into a reality. Whether it’s a full design for a feature film, a set build for a period theatre production, or even a festival or event which requires custom designed staging and branding, our design team can do it all.

    From concept drawing to scale construction plans, they will be happy to work with you through the whole creative process. Our design team members are also available to consult with you about productions or projects which are still in the idea phase to help you develop your ideas into an actionable design.

  • Need help managing your next production or event? We can help! The Pegasus Management Team have years of experience managing large-scale films, live events and festivals.

    Our production team have experience in back of house setup, management of events and crew, and also front of house duties such as crowd management and hospitality.

  • Set construction is usually associated with film and theatre, but set builders are trained with a large range of skills including carpentry, framing, rendering, and painting. A major part of set construction is the ability to replicate themes and styles from any historical era or culture.

    These skills are very easily transferable to other areas. Set construction skills can be applied to pop-up advertising events, interactive exhibits or displays, event or display facades, building or organisational theming/branding, portable or travelling branding solutions, and much more!

  • Props are used in a variety of situations and industries. Props are, of course, integral to film and theatre production, but there are many other places where props are required.

    Stores use props for their window displays. Corporations will use props as a promotional aid. Props are even used as educational tools in some museums and institutions.

  • The Pegasus Productions Costume Team have years of experience in creating costumes for film, theatre, and individual use.

    Our team can undertake fittings for performers to create detailed and precise costumes from scratch in accordance with existing designs and patterns, or our design team can create bespoke costumes to suit specific needs.

    Pegasus Productions also have a wardrobe of existing costume stock for hire.

  • For all audio-visual needs, we work with our partner company Australian Audio & Lighting Technology. With over 35 years of industry experience and their own stock of equipment, we are able to manage your technical requirements from bump in to bump out.

    We are also capable of designing and building custom audio-visual installs for exhibitions, education and displays, ranging from projection art, to digital signage.

  • Myer Centre "Santa's Academy" Set Elements

    Pegasus Productions were contracted to build set elements to match signage for the pop-up christmnas event. These elements consisted of large present boxes and a custom letterbox for children to post a postcard to Santa.

  • Pirate Life's 9th Birthday/Shotgun Willies' Takeover Event

    In partnership with Pirate Life and Shotgun Willies, We custom built signage and set dressing elements for Pirate Life’s 9th Birthday Event at the Port Adelaide brewery.

    We also installed all event elements, including all set dressing and props for both the external and internal bars, custom fencing and even built a western coffin dart board! We were also on-site for the duration of the event to ensure the event went smoothly and help manage.

  • Memphis Slims "Lounge of Love" Themed Event

    In partnership with Pegasus Productions, full event set dressing and lighting built and installed for Memphis Slims as a part of the Lounge of Love.

    We installed colour ceiling drapes, tie-dyed table cloths, flower chains and painted banners into the space to make the theme of the event flow throughout the venue.

  • Dark Arts Society: World Gin Day "Apocalypse Now"

    In partnership with Shotgun Willie's, we transformed the venue for the Dark Arts Society: World Gin Day. Inspired by the 1979 film "Apocalypse Now," we transformed the main bar into a lush green jungle and the darts room into a command bunker using a combination of set dressing, props and lighting.

  • Alveus Sanctuary

    We currently work with Alveus Sanctuary located in Texas, USA. We have produced some of their signage for their studio and habitats. We have also done some design work for their habitats.

    We have a long standing relationship with Maya and the rest of the Alveus Team, and continue to support a great cause for conservation and education however we can.

  • One Eye Open "Express"

    Full set and scenery built and installed into the Space Theatre. The set is designed and built in the style of a vintage passenger train car, including luggage racks, serving bar and faked wood grain walls.

    The set was built as atravelling set so all aspects are able to be dismantled to fit within as tour truck.

  • Pegasus Productions "Party in the Wasteland"

    "Party in the Wasteland" was a themed event run on the 28th August 2021, in conjunction with The Light ADL.

    The idea was to create a theme which the audiences would be immersed into via the use of set elements and audio-visual elements. We used the video game series, “Fallout” as a base for the themed elements.

  • Lab Rats ADL "The Lab Rats Present: Not a Halloween Show"

    On the 29th October, Pegasus Productions was involved in the Lab Rats' "Not a Halloween Show". Our team created a whole host of props and set decoration items for the show to tie together the theme of the show throughout the venue.

  • Myer Centre "Win a Cruise" Ship Deck

    Pegasus Productions were contracted to construct a ship deck for the Myer Centre’s “Win a Cruise” competition during December 2023. The client wanted a set element to catch people’s eye as well as serve as a photo op area for the event.
